KS Bank names market executive

Timothy N. Taylor has been named market executive for KS Bank and will be located in Wilson.

Taylor has 37 years of experience in financial banking services including executive bank management and multi-branch management as well as consumer, commercial and mortgage lending. His career also has included credit underwriting and loan portfolio management with responsibility for credit department administration.

Taylor attended N.C. Wesleyan College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business and economics. He also completed the Mid-Management and Advanced Management Programs at the UNC School of Banking at Chapel Hill and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

As market executive for KS Bank, Taylor is responsible for growth of deposits and loans in Wilson and surrounding eastern counties, including Rocky Mount and Greenville.

“We are very excited that Tim is assuming this position,” said Harold T. Keen, the bank’s president and CEO. “His banking experience and financial expertise will be a valuable asset to Wilson and the surrounding counties, both to businesses and consumers.”

Taylor currently resides in Rocky Mount with his wife, Jennifer. They have one daughter. He and his wife serve and are active members of Calvary Baptist Church.
