Devyn Bullock has been a key contributor to his Wilson Preparatory Academy varsity boys basketball team all season, making him this week’s Farris & Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.
Devyn, a 6-foot-5 junior guard, is averaging 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers, who are 9-5 in their first season playing in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 1-A ranks.
The son of Shanelle Harris of Wilson and Durant Harris of Fayetteville, Devyn has a 4.2 GPA and is ranked fourth in his junior class at Wilson Prep, where he takes honors and Advanced Placement courses. Devyn is a member of WPA’s chapter of National Honor Society and the Beta Club. He attended North Carolina State University’s College of Engineering Residency Camp last summer and hopes to be selected to participate again this summer.
Devyn plays travel basketball for the Anthony Atkinson All-Stars, based in Wilson. He has a wide range of musical ability as he plays the violin, guitar and piano.
