The Cyclones led 28-14 at halftime and shut out the Trojans in the second half on the way to their third victory in eight outings. By virtue of the win, the CCS took third place in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association 1-A Colonial Carolina Conference at 2-2 while Bethel Christian, 1-7 overall, dropped to fourth place at 1-3.
The Cyclones will begin the NCISAA 1-A playoffs on Friday, Nov. 3, against an opponent to be determined.
