The Wilson Times Weathercast, a twice-weekly audio-recorded weather forecast featuring Albert Thomas Jr., continues today on WilsonTimes.com.

Thomas, a Wilson attorney and retired judge, will weigh in on Wilson's weather conditions each Monday and Friday afternoon. Thomas is forecast aficionado who recalls Wilson community weatherman Joe Overman's broadcasts on WVOT radio.

Before earning his law degree, Thomas received a bachelor's in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He writes the Times' "First Mondays" column during Supreme Court terms and formerly wrote a column for the StarNews of Wilmington.

The Times is currently tweaking its audio broadcast technology and the twice-weekly Weathercast is in the beta-testing phase.
