Favorite quote

“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart.”

Most memorable moment

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I love to hang all of the ornaments my students have given me over the years on my Christmas tree. I reflect on each student and find such joy and gratitude in having been a small part of their educational experience.

What is your superpower?

My superpower is compassion. I form very strong relationships with my students because they know how deeply I care for them and how important they are to me.

Why do you teach?

I teach to empower each student to believe in themselves and understand that through a good education and hard work, anything is possible.
