Favorite quote

“Those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music” — Friedrich Nietzsche

Most memorable moment in your career

When a student who frequently misbehaved in class came to me for advice one afternoon, even though almost two years had passed since the student was in my class.

What is your super power?

Taking civics and turning it from a meat-and-potatoes class into a jazzed up casserole of fun and not being ashamed to show school spirit.

Why do you teach?

I teach because I love to learn and enjoy being around young people. They teach me, and the entire experience helps make me who I am.
