Debbie Webb and Nan Bissette each carded rounds of 82 to prevail in their respective flights in the second 2019 Wilson Ladies Golf League outing at Wedgewood Public Golf Course earlier this week.
With her 10-over-par 82, Webb of Wedgewood claimed low gross in the First Flight. Priscilla Brewer of Wilson Country Club again seized low net with a 67 and, with 27 putts, Sue McGuire of Willow Springs Country Club emerged the low putts victor.
Bissette, also of Wedgewood, set the pace in the Second Flight with her 82. Melba Martin of WCC sizzled with a 62 in winning low net. Pat Capps of Wedgewood took low putts with 31.
Triumphant in the Third Flight were Charlene Lewis of Wedgewood, low gross (87); Cathy Causway of Wedgewood, low net (63); and Jean Pochis of WCC, low putts (31).
Twenty-one golfers formed three flights.
Wilson Country Club will be the venue for the next league outing on Tuesday, July 2. Women golfers are reminded county residents are eligible to participate and club membership or affiliation is not necessary. The matches begin at 9:30 a.m.
