A low-pressure system and a one-two punch of passing cold fronts will keep rain chances high for much of the week in Wilson County, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in the latest installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by ENCWheels.com.

Wilson's in for a 50 percent chance of showers through overnight Tuesday, and while Wednesday will provide a brief respite, the chance of precipitation rises to 50 percent Wednesday, 70 percent on Thursday and levels off at 40 percent on Friday.

Sunshine should increase as rain chances diminish this weekend into next week. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-80s for the majority of this week, with overnight lows hovering around the 70-degree mark.
