Wilson County is in store for "a lot of weather variety" this weekend and early in the workweek, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in the latest installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by Eastern NC Wheels.
A cold front will stall near Wilson on Saturday, migrate down to South Carolina and return as a warm front, bringing shifts in temperature and possible rain conditions.
Saturday should see highs in the low 60s and lows in the lower 40s with a 30 to 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon and evening. The mercury should reach the upper 50s on Sunday, with the overnight low dropping into the low-to-mid 30s.
Monday brings a 40 percent chance of rain and highs in the mid-50s. The 40 percent rain chance increases to 80 percent on Tuesday, with showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the forecast.
