With daytime highs at or above 72 degrees, "the warmth has finally settled in," Albert Thomas Jr. pronounces in this weekend's installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.
Saturday begins in the mid-50s, with the mercury rising to a comfortable 72-75-degree range during the day. Overnight lows should be in the mid-50s. Warmth continues on Sunday, when the greater Wilson area should see highs topping out between 76 and 78.
A 15 percent chance of showers Sunday afternoon rises to 60 percent Monday afternoon as the daytime high approaches 80 degrees. The low Monday night will be a balmy 62 to 64. Expect a 40 to 60 percent chance of rain Tuesday with a chance of gusty winds and a high in the mid-70s.
