Gusty winds and moderate temperatures are in store for the greater Wilson area this week, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in the latest installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.
Tuesday should see a high of 70 degrees with brisk wind in the afternoon and evening gusting to 20-25 mph. There's a 50 percent chance of afternoon showers increasing to 80 percent by late evening. Wednesday will bring a high around 60, with temperatures falling to the low 30s overnight.
The remainder of the workweek should be mild, with a strong chance of showers after lunchtime Friday. Saturday is looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid-50s. At least one weather model predicts a blast of arctic air next week.
