Re: “Trump’s sorry failure to apologize” by George Leach, Wednesday:

George, do you realize that everyone who reads this paper knows you hate Trump, you will always hate Trump and if Trump came up with a cure for cancer, you would still hate him?

On top of that, you are compelled to bring race into everything you write. This article clearly demonstrates that. You begin your blather with what has happened to American values, but the only discussion is who apologized or didn’t. How about discussing serious missing values such as two-parent families, morality, respect, multiple children with multiple daddies to garner more welfare, failure to take responsibility for your actions, etc.?

You only cover what you want so you can harp on Trump. You jump to apologies and admonish Trump for not apologizing. In your defense you had Obama, and he apologized to the world for everything. You said Clinton apologized for Lewinsky, but it only happened after he was caught in numerous lies and the famous discussion on what the meaning of the word “IS” is. Among other things he was disbarred from practicing law.

Did Swaggart apologize because he was sorry for being with a prostitute or because he got caught? How about Joy Behar and her mocking of the VP’s Christian faith or that brain-dead dirtbag Kathy Griffin who held up Trump’s fake severed head? Did they apologize?

I read through your entire diatribe on who Trump hasn’t apologized to and then I began to wonder. Where is the apology from George Leach for all the dumb, racist and hateful things he has written about Donald Trump? I guess he believes in that tarnished golden rule, ”Do unto others before they do it to you” or “Do as I say, not as I do.”

Finally, there is no question, if you kneel or men don’t remove their hats during playing of the national anthem, you are being disrespectful and don’t deserve the protections that the flag and the folks who fought and died for it give you.

Trump gave up a lot to be president, George. What have you done for your country other than complain?
