Charles B. Aycock High senior Lexi Reevies was a key factor in leading her Lady Golden Falcons girls tennis team to a pair of key 3-A/4-A Eastern Carolina Conference victories last week, making her this week's Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Lexi posted a 4-1 record in singles and doubles play last week, including a perfect 4-0 record against ECC opponents New Bern and Greenville Rose. Against New Bern, Lexi played at No. 4 singles and combined with partner Karlyn Ray at No. 2 doubles in CBA's eventual 7-2 win.

Versus Rose, Lexi's play was instrumental in CBA edging out a 5-4 victory. She won her match at No. 4 singles and again collected a doubles victory with Ray at No. 2.

In the classroom, Lexi holds a 4.4 weighted grade-point average and ranks 30th in her class of approximately 300. She served as junior class president and is active in Key Club, HOSA and the National Honor Society.

The daughter of Kenneth and Melinda Reeves of Goldsboro, Lexi is a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goldsboro and is a volunteer at Fremont EMS.
