Thomas “Tom” Herbert Webster, 70, of Wilson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Montreal General Hospital.

Beloved husband of Jane Webster (nee Soules), and precious father of Megan Webster (Christophe Beauregard Blatchford) and Gillian Webster (Martin Saidla), and grandfather of Caio Beauregard and Luisa Saidla; son of Herbert (d.) and Patricia Webster of Fort Myers, Florida, brother to Gerald Webster, Robin Grames, Stephen Webster and Laurel Garver.

This man had a full and varied life.

Born in Minneapolis, Tom lived in Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Winnipeg, Asuncion Paraguay, Montreal, Dunnville, Waterdown, and for the last 20 years, Wilson. Tom earned degrees in psychology, social work, business administration, divinity and substance abuse counseling. He has served as an accountant, administrator, social worker, missionary, priest, church planter and counselor. After his retirement in 2016, he walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain. He opened his heart and life to strangers, gave generously, sang with gusto, laughed to fill a room, impersonated Elvis and Daffy Duck, fished and golfed, and played board games with his daughters. He could talk about any sport anytime to anybody. He boldly pursued adventure. He was kind, loving and faithful. He will be missed.
