CLEMMONS — Mr. Thomas Franklin Brown, 61, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at Brighton Gardens.
He was born July 7, 1956 in Surry County to Garson and Barbara Haynes Brown. Tom was a member of Reynolda Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is his wife, Janet Anderson Brown; two daughters, Lauren Dean (Jamie) and their children, Kalkidan, Rebuma, Anna Ruby and Owen, Megan Howell (Bryan) and their children, Brady and Emma Kate; his mother, Barbara Swaim; a special aunt and uncle, Oscar and Doris Holcomb; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Culler, Wanda Benge (Jimmy) and Freida Martin; a brother-in-law, Gregg Anderson; several cousins; and his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Reynolda Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Janet is deeply grateful for the Caregivers Support Group which has given her support and encouragement during the four years of Tom’s journey with dementia.
