Traffic was detoured for roughly eight hours Friday after a wreck involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger car temporarily closed Raleigh Road Parkway.
Shortly before 7 a.m., Wilson police officers and Wilson Fire/Rescue officials responded to the crash on Raleigh Road Parkway near Hayes Place. Raleigh Road Parkway was closed until shortly before 3 p.m. due to a small leak from the tractor-trailer, city officials said.
Traffic was detoured down Lamm Road as well as Interstate 95 South where drivers were able access U.S. 264 West.
Officials said those involved in the wreck sustained minor injuries.
