The Singers Studio is holding auditions May 14 and 15 for the July production of “13: The Musical.”
“13” is a modern musical comedy featuring a cast exclusively made up of young teenagers. “13” tells the story of almost 13-year-old Evan Goldman who moves from New York City to a small town in the Midwest after his parents’ divorce. The story takes some hilarious turns as Evan navigates the tricky world of middle school in a new and unfamiliar place.
The production team includes Hannah Slaughter as director and Courtney Perez as choreographer, joined by Rita Bennett as musical director. Elizabeth Winstead serves as executive director and producer.
Auditions are for students in middle school and high school and will take place in Kennedy Family Theatre at Barton College starting at 7 p.m. May 14 and15.
