FOUR OAKS — KS Bank has named Amber Outen Straley the relationship manager of the bank’s Four Oaks retail office, the Smithfield-based community bank announced Tuesday.
Straley will be responsible for all branch operations and personnel. She has worked as a retail banking officer, assistant credit analyst, risk management assistant and loan processor since starting her career in the financial industry in 2007.
“Amber is from Johnston County originally and is well connected to the area,” President and CEO Harold Keen said in a statement. “Her past work experience brings a wealth of knowledge in banking as well as customer relationship development. She will be an asset to the Four Oaks community as well as to KS Bank.”
Straley graduated from East Carolina University in 2006. She completed the North Carolina Bankers Association Banking School, a four-year program dedicated to expanding the skills of middle managers and prospective managers, in 2017.
She and her husband, Chris, live in Smithfield with their two children. Her community involvement includes memberships in the Central Johnston County Rotary, the Partnership for Children board member, Centenary United Methodist Church’s Mothers’ Morning Out program and the Smithfield-Selma Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Women’s Business Network.
KS Bank has branches in Wilson, Kenly, Selma, Clayton, Goldsboro, Smithfield, Garner and Wendell and has a mortgage lending office in Greenville.
