More than 50 children and their parents participated in the annual Easter egg hunt and hot dog supper Thursday afternoon sponsored by the Wilson Housing Authority. The kids were able to hunt for more than 2,000 eggs hidden on the playground and playing fields at E.B. Jordan Homes. The event is put on by housing authority staff and was made possible by contributions from Wilson Walmart Supercenter and several individuals and churches. Pictured with the Easter bunny are 6-year-old Ivyyona Rojas and her friend, 3-year-old Zymhere Taybron.
