Wilson playwright Mildred Summerville, left, receives the Five Facets of a Woman Award from Cyshelle Williams, president of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority's Gamma Upsilon Zeta chapter. The chapter recognized Summerville during its Womanhood Observance Celebration March 9 at the Ambiance Center in Fayetteville. Summerville, who wrote and produced the award-winning gospel stage play "Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child," served as guest speaker. The Five Facets of a Woman Award honors a woman who demonstrates community service, scholarship, sisterhood and the founding principles of finer womanhood.
