Eleven-year-old Amiya Speight of Wilson goes up to dunk the ball over other players at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club on Friday. The Wilson after-school and summer youth club closed its doors Friday after more than 60 years due to funding issues. "I think it's sad," Amiya said. "I have been coming here since I was little. My mama put a basketball in my hand when I was a baby and this is where I played on my first team." About 40 children are affected.
