Three members of Wilson Christian’s North Carolina Christian School Association 2-A girls soccer champion were accorded NCCSA 2-A All-State first-team acclaim following the Lady Chargers’ thrilling four-overtime 5-4 victory over Alamance Christian on Saturday at WCA.

Senior goalkeeper Kimberly Lamm, who made 15 saves in the final; junior midfielder Anna Grace Abrams and eighth-grader Lea Gossett, who scored four goals against Alamance Christian, including the game-winner, were named to the prestigious unit.

Abrams assisted on each of Gossett’s goals.

Landing on the NCCSA 2-A All-East Region first team from Wilson Christian were Jenna Hunter and Jenna Varnell while Kendall Harris was named to the all-region second team.
