Sisters Betsy Kelly Russell and Ginny Kelly Lassiter are featured in the current Wilson Active Artists exhibit at the Wilson Arts Center.

The sisters have lived in Ocean Isle Beach for years but are now back in Wilson part time. Along with their husbands, they have become active members and supporters of the Arts Council of Wilson.

Lassiter has been owner and manager of Sunset River Marketplace Galley in Ocean Isle Beach for 15 years.

Russell is an accomplished clay artist who creates small, functional pieces as well as mixed media jewelry.

Lassiter is an avid abstract painter who works in acrylics.

She loves teaching, and she enjoys her art students at Wilson Community College.

The show will run through April 22.
