Southern Bank has announced the promotion of Courtney J. Price to assistant vice president and branch manager in southern Nash County.

Price has been employed in the banking industry for the past 13 years and has managed the Bailey and Middlesex offices for the past two years.

A native of Wilson, Price attended Methodist University in Fayetteville and Wilson Community College, where she earned an Associate in Arts degree. She has recently completed two years at the RMA-ECU Commercial Lending School and she is also a graduate of the Dynamic Leadership program through the Wilson Chamber of Commerce.

Price and her husband Ryan Price reside in Wilson County with their daughter Carson. She is a member of Marsh Swamp Church in Sims.
