A 16-year-old faces charges after police say he sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl.
In September, officers with the Wilson Police Department were dispatched to Wilson Medical Center regarding an alleged sexual assault on the child. The assault allegedly occurred in the 3600 bock of Columbia Avenue.
Upon further investigation, police arrested 16-year-old James A. Stucks of 321 S. Haywood St., Raleigh. He is charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of second-degree forcible sexual offense.
Stucks was given a $20,000 secured bond.
He was charged in connection to the case on Jan. 8.
