Dan Finch Pottery Open House

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The annual open house will include functional creations in stoneware and porcelain by the studio potters. Also, plan to shop for sculpture, jewelry and Homes for Bluebirds nesting boxes. There will be pottery-making demonstrations. Those attending can also glaze their own raku vase. Music is by Southern Star Band. Food concessions available.

Historic Downtown Wilson Christmas Parade

The annual Christmas parade is earlier than usual this year because it will include the Shriner’s Honor Parade.

Lighting of the Luminaries

6 p.m.

Center campus

Barton College

Experience the traditional Christmas celebration as the campus pathways are outlined with lighted luminaries. The event includes a An Evening of Lesson and Carols featuring the Barton College choir and the lighting of the tree.
