Authorities are searching for a Pennsylvania woman who has disappeared after a recent stay at a Wilson hotel.

Wilson police say 32-year-old Sianeh Togbah Sherman last spoke with family members on April 11 and had stayed at the Sleep Inn at 5011 Hayes Place near Interstate 95 on April 9.

Officers found Sherman's belongings in the hotel room, but no signs of her were present, Sgt. Steve Stroud said Friday night.

The Wilson Police Department is assisting the Pennsylvania State Police in the missing person case. Sherman is of Liberian descent and lived in Atglen, a borough in Chester County east of Philadelphia.

Sherman was driving a 2005 Volkswagen Touraeg with Pennsylvania license plate RNW-6511. Stroud said the missing vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center law enforcement database.

Anyone who has seen Sherman or has information on her current whereabouts is asked to call the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 252-243-2255.
