Joseph and Mae Carolyn Williams celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 10 at The Club at Andrews on Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland with reaffirmation of vows, dinner, tributes and dancing.

The event was hosted by the couple’s children, Tiffany Jennings, daughter and son, Joseph Patrick Williams.

Mr. Williams is a retired physical scientist and Mrs. Williams is a retired teacher.

The couple has two children; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams is the former Mae Carolyn Jackson of Mill Spring, North Carolina.

The couple was married July 2, 1966.
