Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue will take over the taps for a fundraiser event. Funds will go to spaying and neutering plus rabies shots to present adoptable cats to the public. Plus attendant expenses until adoption: food, litter and care. One dollar of every pint sold and cash tips will go towards the cause.

The heart of Wilson will be transformed into a gallery of large-scale photographs by 100 prominent and emerging photographers from 43 countries. The outdoor exhibition on Nash Street focuses on the theme “Main Street, a Crossroad of Culture,” as interpreted by the individual photographers. This event will continue through Aug. 4.

In memory of Landen Bass, WCA has established the Landen Bass Memorial Scholarship Fund that will assist other boys and girls with financial support to enter or return to WCA.
