SNOW HILL — Snyder Pearson, at No. 1 singles, erased a 7-2 deficit to prevail 9-7 and remain unbeaten as the Lake Wilson tennis team turned back host Greene County, 8-1, on Thursday.

Lake Wilson, with its second 8-1 win against Greene County, now stands undefeated in 10 matches and ends its season at the Greenfield School junior varsity on Monday.

Pearson was joined by No. 2 Hatten Gore, No. 3 Lawson O’Hara, No. 4 Ethan Boyette, No. 5 Griffin Brown and No. 6 Mason Wocher as singles winners. Triumphant in doubles were Pearson-Gore at No. 1 and Boyette-Brown at No. 2.

Pearson and O’Hara boast 10-0 records, while Gore is 9-0. Then comes Boyette at 9-1, Wocher at 8-1 and Brown at 8-2.
