MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Michael “Boot” O’Neal, 66, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 at Embrace Hospice House of the Grand Strand.

He was born July 31, 1953 in Wilson, son of the late Henry O’Neal and Inez Marie O’Neal.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Raymond and James O’Neal.

Survivors include his loving wife, Nancye O’Neal of Myrtle Beach; three sons, Neal Combs and his wife, Chrystal and Michael O’Neal and his wife, Kristie, all of Kenly, and Joshua O’Neal of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two daughters, Nancy Jo West and her husband, Brett, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and Stephanie Owens and her husband, Lee, of Wilson; three sisters, Patsy Duke, Ann Taylor and Margaret Pugh, all of Wilson; his grandchildren, Nathan Combs and his wife, Ellie, Haley Lamm and her husband, Tyler, Rebekah Grace O’Neal, Tyler O’Neal and Ethan West; and his three great-grandchildren, Noah Combs, Emmett Combs and Macie Lamm.

Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, working at Walmart, riding to the beach on his golf cart with Nancye and his dog Little Bit, family, friends and going out to eat. He helped all who needed a hand. His generosity and love given to all will be missed. He was always sharing his love for Jesus with everyone he met.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina 29576.
