Fike High School

This annual event presented by Wilson Education Partnership and Wilson County Schools features the choruses from Beddingfield, Fike and Hunt high schools. On Saturday, the Middle School All-County Honors Chorus will also perform. Tickets are available in advance at the three high schools and the Wilson County Chamber of Commerce. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for youth in grades K-12.

Art in Your Face Artfest

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Art at 123 studio, 123 Barnes St., Wilson

The event will include art demonstrations, food, music and new work.

Lee Smith

6 p.m.

Barton College

The acclaimed N.C. author will speak at the Barton College Friends of Hackney Library spring dinner and program. Smith is the author of 13 novels. Seats for this event will be limited. Cost is $30-$35 per person. Call Luann Clark at 252-399-6329 to reserve a seat. Reservations must be received by March 27.
