The Lake Wilson USTA 14U Junior Team Tennis edition moved to 3-1 following a recent split of matches with Benvenue Country Club and River Birch Tennis Center of Greenville.
On Monday, Snyder Pearson and the sister combo of Caroline Adkins-Kathryn Adkins won two matches each on the way to a 5-0 sweep of Benvenue.
Pearson teamed with Joseph Joyner to record an 8-4 win at the No. 1 doubles position, while Adkins-Adkins dispatched the Benvenue tandem of Mari Robin Tharin-Anna Everette 8-4.
The lower end of the singles order proved troublesome against River Birch, as Lake Wilson could only salvage singles wins from Thomas Hodges and McGuire Metts in a 7-2 loss at River Birch on June 28.
Lake Wilson was swept in the three doubles matches versus River Birch.
The team returns to action in a rematch against River Birch on Tuesday, July 10 at home.
