Rebekah Viser Lee of Bailey and Luke William LaHay of Elm City were married April 28 in a 5 p.m. ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Wilson. The Rev. William A. Raynor and the Rev. James M. Sutton Jr. officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Cyrus Field Lee Jr. of Bailey. She graduated from Timberlake Christian Academy and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in journalism. She is employed as a development fellow at Civitas Institute.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Windell LaHay Jr. of Elm City. He graduated from Greenview Academy and Nash Community College with an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree and from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He is employed as sales coordinator at The Drainage Solution Company.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Rachel Lee Brady of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Daniela Monique Agostini of Raleigh; Alexandria Bruns of Raleigh; Hannah Joy Carroll of Raleigh; Grace Walton LaHay of Elm City, sister of the groom; Holly Geiger Lee of Wilson, sister-in-law of the bride; Jacqueline Ussery Lee of Cary, sister-in-law of the bride; Alison Leigh Nailor of Raleigh; and Kaitlyn Rae Semones of Raleigh.

Emmett Wesley LaHay of Elm City, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Winston Hunter Brady of Raleigh, brother-in-law of the bride; Benjamin Windell LaHay of Wilson, brother of the groom; Caleb Wilson LaHay of Elm City, brother of the groom; Charles Windell LaHay of Elm City, father of the groom; Seth Warren LaHay of Elm City, brother of the groom; Cyrus Andrew Lee of Wilson, brother of the bride; Joshua Mills Lee of Bailey, brother of the bride; Samuel Langston Lee of Bailey, brother of the bride; and Stephen Edward Lee of Cary, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Charles Moriah Boggess of Elkin, Christopher Mark Dunham of Fayetteville, Jonathan William Haire of Apex, Jonathan Roy Handley of Wilson and Samuel David Reid of Greensboro.

Ring bearers were Nathaniel Cyrus Lee of Wilson, nephew of the bride, and Charles Edwin Orr of Clinton, South Carolina, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride at The Wilsonian.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by parents of the groom at Something Different on the eve of the wedding.

On the morning of the wedding, a wedding brunch was held at The Leaning Tree in Bailey hosted by Elizabeth Rogers and Pam LaHay Orr, aunts of the groom.

They have returned from a wedding trip to St. Lucia and are living in Raleigh.
