STANHOPE — Host Southern Nash spilled Hunt 8-1 in 3-A Big East Conference girls tennis action Wednesday, upping the Ladybirds’ record to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in league matches.

Picking up singles wins for Southern Nash, which swept doubles, were Caroline Carothers, Stacie Winner, Nora Satekoa, Katelyn Cox and Brandi Curtis.

Megan Tillotson notched the lone win for the Lady Warriors (2-6, 1-2 Big East) at No. 5 singles.

Hunt will visit Franklinton on Thursday while Southern Nash will host Rocky Mount as Big East play continues for both squads.
