The Hunt High varsity volleyball team tuned for its 3-A Big East Conference opener at home against Northern Nash on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 triumph against East Wake on Monday.
The Lady Warriors of head coach Tiffany Rowe clipped East Wake 25-23, 25-7, 25-8.
Returning starter Amoret Stinagle triggered Hunt with seven service aces and six kills.
Stinagle was complemented by Greysen Evans with six aces, Brianna Moore with five aces and 26 assists and Meghan Martinez with nine kills.
The victory left the Lady Warriors with a 6-5 record.
