WASHINGTON — A North Johnston High varsity girls soccer team with only two wins to its credit had no answer for Washington on Tuesday night, as the Pam Pack remained unbeaten in the 2-A Eastern Plains Conference with an 8-0 win.
The Lady Panthers (2-11-3, 1-2-1 EPC) were subjected to 21 shots on frame from the Pam Pack. Senior goalkeeper Morgan Foster was pressed into 14 saves.
Jordan Prescott, Sydney Edwards and Berenice Chavez all contributed two goals for Washington, now 4-0 in the EPC and 8-3-1 overall. Anna Frisbie and Maddie Brodie each added goals. Walker contributed three assists. Defensively, Samantha Sheppard corralled nine saves for the Pam Pack in notching the 80-minute clean sheet.
North Johnston plays host to SouthWest Edgecombe on Thursday.
