I’d like to address a topic that’s never discussed. Many elderly and disabled people and veterans, I’m sure, will agree. They are doing without after working hard all their lives while many careless and lazy people spend government money that they should never receive. Some get $20 a month for food stamps. This is my opinion.

There’s a moral gap in parenthood;

The government’s assumed the role.

The feds are surrogate fathers,

For the real ones have no soul.

So, too, include loose women

Not equipped for motherhood,

Having baby after baby,

And could stop it if they would!

The welfare in this country

Has become a bleak nightmare,

As widows and wounded soldiers

Live with cupboards almost bare.

Many kids are fed at school now,

Their breakfast and lunch too.

One can say it’s now a common thing.

Taxpayers know it too!

Loving parents are responsible,

They work the whole week long.

But the liberal and blind-sighted,

They defend cold-hearted wrong.

They take up for the sinners:

Men and women who aren’t good,

Those who will not love their children

Nor support them as they should.
