Hunter’s Dance Studio presents Hunter’s Competitive Dance Company, tumble teams and Hunter’s Competitive Cheer Teams for a fundraiser at Fike High School on Sunday, March 3, benefiting Mulligan’s Fore Kids and Sidekix. Both nonprofits benefit local individuals and families with special needs and disabilities.
The performance starts at 2 p.m. with Hunter’s Dance tumble teams, competitive small groups and a competitive production.
At 3:30, Hunter’s Competitive Cheer Teams — Sparkle, Ignite and Explosion — will perform their United States All Star Federation Routines.
At 4 p.m., Hunter’s Competitive Dance Company will perform its competition routines.
Studio owner, Hunter Peebles, said she is excited to have the dancers, tumblers and cheerleaders use their God-given talents to help benefit other children and families less fortunate.
Some of the money raised through Sidekix will go toward putting on a “Sidekix Once Upon a Dream” prom at Surge at Farmington Heights on Saturday, May 4 for eighth-grade to college age. The prom will promote inclusion and friendship between individuals with special needs/disabilities and their Sidekix friends
Tickets for the showcase are available at www.WAWTix.com for $10. One ticket required per person for tumble, cheer and dance.
