Family Feud for Families will raise money for Seeds of Hope Wilson, a local nonprofit organization that partners with Vick Elementary School to promote student achievement and wellbeing as well as have a positive impact on the surrounding community.
“Because we work and serve families, Family Feud for Families would be the perfect thing to do, and it has turned out to be wonderful to bring businesses and other nonprofits together as well as other members of the community together,” said Priscilla Morello, executive director of Seeds of Hope Wilson. “It’s the only major fundraiser we have, so we count on this to raise our funds for Seeds of Hope Wilson. The goodwill and support from these entities has been very gratifying to us.”
Gary Walling will be host of the show. The theme this year is “superheroes.”
Participants include BB&T, Bojangles’, Zaxby’s, Hope Station, Community Soup Kitchen of Wilson County, New Christian Food Pantry, Wilson County Partnership for Children, Vick Elementary School and The SPOT.
The event is Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at Surge Center at 910 Raleigh Road Parkway. Light refreshments will be served after the show.
Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased at WAWtix.com. Call 252-236-8673 for more information.
