The Greenfield School inducted 15 new members into its Order of the Round Table on April 2.

Founded in recognition of Greenfield’s 35th anniversary in 2005, the Order of the Round Table’s purpose is to recognize individuals “who best exemplify the spirit of honor, loyalty, duty and tradition that are the hallmarks of the greater Greenfield community,” according to the school.

“We enjoyed the opportunity to say thank you even as we remember some great times that have been had along the way,” Head of School Beth Peters said during the induction ceremony.

Order of the Round Table inductees are B.B. Melchior and the late Meta Melchior, Cindy Cash, Chuck Finklea, Cynthia Finklea, Jim Cash, Catherine Boyette, John Tilton, Brenda Tilton, Michael Black and the late Susan Black, Ben Forbes, Leni Crook, Sherrie Bridgers and Judy Muirhead.

The next induction ceremony will be held in 2020 to mark Greenfield’s 50-year milestone. School officials say plans for the golden anniversary celebration are already underway.
