Does the so-called Republican conservative party only see a woman’s right to choose as a moral issue, willfully denying the broader concept of the multitudes of folks denied health care needs as offered under universal health care as supplied by all other industrialized nations of the world — except one?
Why? Because within all universal health care systems, be it single-payer or socialized, there is coverage for a woman’s right to choose. Be it similar in scope as the Hyde Amendment provides for in case of rape, incest and the health of the mother and/or a socialistic plan that offers abortion on demand, such as Israel’s.
Could the objection be less based on morality and more on the greed found within the corporate capitalistic system now found in this country? Our system is by far the most expensive health care system on the planet, although it falls well short in quality and access of services to a majority.
Yes, it is the best medical care system that money can buy.
