In 1998, Gregory’s son, Wornell, followed in his mother’s footsteps and also began a career in real estate. He started his own company, Gregory & Associates, and he and his mother, along with several agents, served clients in and around Wilson for more than 15 years.
Mother and son enjoyed the many close friendships they formed with numerous agents, as well as the many clients they worked with, both of which were a valuable part of the success of Gregory & Associates Real Estate company.
In March 2016, Glendy and Wornell made the decision to join with another very successful and prosperous company in Wilson. The two real estate agents made the move to The Chesson Agency and are now working with one of the largest real estate agencies in this area. The Chesson Agency has more than 30 agents on staff and has been a fixture in the Wilson community for many years. In 1979, Jeff Chesson took over the business from his father, Joe, and he and his wife, Pat, have since brought their two sons, Adam and Matthew, into the business as well.
