Holmes won the Junior 152-pound class, defeating Sincere King of Greenville Wrestling 15-11 in the championship match. Timothy Decatur also won all three of his matches to claim the Junior 126-pound Junior title while younger brother Christian ruled the Cadet 113-pound division.
The Backyard Wrestling Club picked up the Best Small Team awards for both Greco and Freestyle at the Tar Heel Classic.
