Faye Crosby Bond of Wilson celebrated her 100th birthday April 22 at Stoneybrook Christian Church.
Around 50 friends and relatives attended. Guests came from Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
Doris Thorne and Lisa Hunter performed the honoree’s favorite songs and hymns. Shannon Baker and the Classic Stepbacks also performed. Parker’s Barbecue catered the party.
Bond, who was born in Walterboro, South Carolina, owned and operated a convenience store for 40 years. She was married but had no children.
Her favorite hobby was fishing.
