I have known Jean Farmer-Butterfield for many years. I’ve been able to observe her leadership firsthand and have seen the numerous positive effects she’s had on the Wilson community.
She’s a hardworking mother, a strong Christian, a former educator, she’s devoted her professional life to helping those who are less fortunate and she is a capable legislator who is respected on both sides of the aisle in Raleigh. I am not aware of someone who could occupy the District 24 seat in the N.C. House of Representatives who would inspire more pride among residents of Wilson County than Jean Farmer-Butterfield.
I’m proud to call her my state representative, just as I am proud to call her my friend and sister in Christ. She most certainly has my vote, and I encourage you to support her at the ballot box as well.
