NASHVILLE — Deputies are investigating the shooting death of a 53-year-old Nash County man.
Deputies responded to a suspicious death call at 9:30 p.m. Saturday on the 3500 block of N.C. 58 near Viverette Road south of Nashville and found Randy Colegrove suffering from a gunshot wound, Chief Deputy Brandon Medina of the Nash County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Nash County EMS paramedics pronounced Colegrove dead at the scene. Medina said Colegrove's death is being investigated as a murder.
