Tree-pruning seminar planned
Cyndi Lauderdale, horticulture extension agent at the N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Wilson County office, will teach proper crape myrtle pruning techniques from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Wilson Botanical Gardens, 1806 Goldsboro St. S. The seminar will include an outdoors, hands-on pruning demonstration.
Clothing giveaway set Jan. 20

Money management guru Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at Wilson Community Church, 2301 Montgomery Drive.
