Refuge Trinity — Elm City

Refuge Trinity Holiness Church will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Sonny Griswold as speaker; morning worship at 11 and evening worship at 6:30 p.m. with the Rev. Curtis Teague as speaker. Revival is 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with the Rev. Curtis Teague as speaker.

Grace Baptist Church will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11. Mid-week Bible study is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

City of Refuge

St. John — Black Creek

St. John Holiness Church will have a missionary appreciation service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. David Jones along with St. Mark Holiness Church and choir of Sims rendering the service.

First Missionary — Lucama

First Missionary Baptist Church will have Sunday school at 7:45 a.m. and morning worship at 8:45 with the Rev. Jeffrey Simms as speaker and music by the youth choir.

Greater Zion

Greater Zion Church will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 11 with Ashley McNair as speaker.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will have service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its ushers’ 81st anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. William Keys of Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Pinetops as guest speaker.

Trinity Fellowship

Trinity Fellowship Ministries will have service at 10 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Angela Harper as speaker.

God of Deliverance — Rocky Mount

God of Deliverance Ministries will have a family conference at 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.

Willing Worker — Lucama

Willing Worker Holiness Church will have joy night (100 women in red and 100 men in black) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with Doris Maddox as speaker and music by the Voices of Praise Choir. The church will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Rev. Nathaniel Spells at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Andrew Barbour along with St. Jude Apostolic Holiness Church and choir rendering the service.

Lewis Chapel — Farmville

Lewis Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have women’s day at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Mamie Woodard along with Bethel Holy Church of Kenly as guests.

Piney Groves

L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, 1800 Lane St., will have a non-denominational men’s Bible study at 7 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Demarius Stevens as speaker.

Christ Deliverance

Christ Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries, 413 E. Pender St., will have a shepherd’s celebration at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday with the following speakers: Thursday, the Rev. St. Paul Church of Christ will end the anniversary celebration of its male chorus at 3 p.m. Sunday. Revival is 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday with the Rev. Richard Mercer of Piney Grove Church of Saratoga and music by Salisbury AME Zion Church male chorus on Thursday, and Piney Grove Church choir of Saratoga on Friday.
