Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church will have a black history/old fashioned day service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Lunch will be served.

Anointed Word — Lucama

Anointed Word Ministries will have service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. C.L. Artis as speaker and a performance by the Power House Dance Studio. Mid-week Bible study is at 7 p.m. Thursday. A pastor’s aid service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday with John L. Hart of St John Church along with St. John Church and Mass Choir of Black Creek rendering the service.

Restorative Christian Ministries will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30 with the Rev. Rita Batts as speaker. Mid-week Bible study is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Faith Temple

Faith Temple will have Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 with the Rev. Ernestine McGee and music by the junior choir. Willing Worker Holiness Church will have a sister-to-sister black history program and honor Randolph Sessoms and Sheriff Calvin Woodard at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Holy Temple

Holy Temple Church will have service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Nathaniel Spells as speaker.

Union Grove — Fremont

Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church will have a youth/young adult service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Morris Artis as speaker and music by the Voices of Vision Choir.

Union View — Bailey

Repha

Repha Church of God will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship and a tribute for African American history at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Mid-week prayer is at 6:30 p.m., and Bible school is at 7 p.m.

Wilson Chapel

Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have an early morning service at 7:45 Sunday; Sunday school 9:30 a.m. and a black history and African culture service 10:45 a.m. Sunday with Sheriff Calvin Woodard as speaker. The gospel choir will celebrate its anniversary at 5 p.m. Sunday with Touorda Moore along with Higher Calling Baptist Church rendering the service. Bible study is at noon Monday. Mid-week prayer is at noon Wednesday and Bible study is at 7 p.m. They ask those attending to wear African attire for the Sunday service and display old-fashioned antiques in the dining hall.

St. Rose Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 11 with the Rev. Rondric Coppedge as speaker and music by the youth choir.

Feel Free
